Goodness, this is a heck of a saddle. Ready to hit the show pen, with all the right look and will it a horse well. Just another example of why we love Rocking R saddles so much, and are still so sad they’ve closed. This saddle is pristine, hardly ridden and so well cared for. Custom made, with a unique serial number (519) that does not correlate with any of their catalogs. Whomever designed this saddle knew exactly what they were doing. Per the latigo, this one is a 16.5″, however measures and fits true to 16″. Offering a slightly raised twist and deep seat pocket, keeping its rider seated well without being confining. Moderate cantle at 3″, with a 3.5″ cutting horn. On QH bars, with an Equi-Fit tree that offers slightly flared out bars to open up the shoulders. Gullet measures 7″, but fits narrower than you’d expect due to the tree shape. Has an “A” framed tree that carries that shape through the whole tree. This is perfect for a more angular horse with a wider barrel and narrower top line. Shorter skirt than most at 26.5″ equitation cut skirt for a close contact feel. In dark leather, slightly roughed out over the seat and fenders, finished with just a modern geometric boarder and tooling. Real wool underside, finished off with upgraded Montana Silver plated conchos, and comes fitted. Free swinging fenders that offer ample adjustment. Stirrups are not original. Weights roughly 35lbs. This saddle has been well cared for, showing hardly any use at all. At this price, you can’t go wrong. This one is show ring ready!
