Here is a darn nice saddle, one that will hold up to hard work, comfortable for all day riding, and made right here in Minnesota! This 16″ Reichert Roper has seen far more storage than use. It has never seen a rope, and no more work than the occasional trail ride. Frankly, we’d be surprised if its even seen 50 rides, having out in a climate controlled tax room since purchase. Offers a true 16″ seat that has a nice, deep seat pocket and ample padding on the seat. Moderate cantle at just 3″. On what appears to be Semi QH bars, measuring 6.5″ with a more “A” framed tree, offering moderate flare, good wither clearance, and is a bit flatter through the bars. This is a great option for a more athletic built horse, such as an Appendix. 3″ post horn, reinforced for roping and dallying, that is currently leather mule wrapped. This one has not seen a rope. VERY adjustable fenders, going insanely long, finished off with weighted roper stirrup. Dropped rigging that helps open up the shoulders. 27.5″ skirt, comes with matching rear latigos. This is a sharp, well built saddle. While not light, its quality. Lovely chestnut oiled leather, very classic in look with basketweave tooling. The only reason this hardly used saddle isn’t priced any higher is–that climate controlled tack room was also home to a couple barn cats. Who, of course, put a few shallow cat scratches on the jockeys. This is a darn nice saddle, ready to work or trail ride.
