This is what happens when Cliff gets board…he builds another saddle. Yes, he is technically retired, but Cliff Langerud just can’t stay away from saddle building. Not that we are complaining, as its always an honor to offer one of his saddles. Despite all his tools and sewing machine now being ours, he built some of this at our shop and some hand stitched, reminding all of us that he’s still one heck of a builder, even in retirement. More simple in design, this one is brand new! One of these days, we really be offering the last saddle he built…at the moment this is his ‘last’ one. Built on an Association Ranch tree from Hadlock and Fox, made in the US with US grown pine. On a QH bars tree, offering a wide fit with a ton of shoulder flare and some nice rock through the bars, without compromising clearance. 7″ gullet with 7″ gullet height, this saddle will fit a  horse well. On chestnut Wickett & Craig leather in a heavier ounce, real wool shearling underside, and finished off with Bork brass rigging plates and Jeremiah Watt conchos. Single skirt to help cut down on weight, pre-turned fenders, and comes fitted. Slick seat with 3.5″ cantle, 3.25″ post horn, built to hold up to hard work and will hold a rope. 14″ slightly lower swells. Finally finished off with Monel stirrups. This is a darn nice saddle, one that will last through the next couple generations. We know…we say it all the time…this is the last one from famed builder Cliff Langerud. Once of these days, it really will be. Grab this saddle while you can.
