How nice is this saddle!? From Alamo Saddlery, despite being a bit older, is in absolutely brilliant condition. A great option for a family friendly saddle or for a growing youth rider. 15.5″ seat, however this one does fit a bit closer to 15″ as it has a surprisingly deep seat and higher cantle. Nice padding and a suede seat. It can be hard to find a truly narrow western saddle. If you ride a horse who has a sharp wither and is narrower through their spine…finally a saddle for you! Semi Bars that measure narrow at just 5.75″. Still has good flare to the bar angle, with a more “A” shaped tree with ample wither clearance. If you ride an OTTB or similarly built horse, this one is a great option! Super short skirt at just 23″, rounded skirt, and slightly set back rigging that opens up the shoulder well. 3.5″ cantle, 3″ horn. Fenders have a crazy amount of adjustment to them, going youth friendly and plenty long enough for most adult riders. Again, this is perfect for a youth/teen rider to grow with them rather than constantly needing to shop new saddles for your growing kiddo. Surprisingly lightweight too, at roughly 22lbs. New nylon latigos on each side. This saddle is in excellent used condition. Clearly well cared for and lightly used, with the only condition flaw to note is some water/oil staining on the rear near side skirt. This is such as nice saddle, that will fit a narrow horse well without breaking the bank.
