You don’t see many Ed & Martha Wright saddles on the used marked…and there is a reason for it. People just don’t part with these amazing saddles! This is an older one, clearly well loved. We have gone through every inch of this saddle, and boy is it sound! Has brand new fenders, new latigo keepers, all new screws, leather rosettes, latigos, front D rings, and finished off with Jeremiah Watt Conchos. This saddle is ready for a ton of more ride time. 13.5″ seat, fitting true to that while still having a deep seat and slightly raised twist. If we are reading the serial number correctly, this one is from 1999, and with its overall, this saddle is in very good used condition. On QH bars that measure 6.5″, with an 7″ tall gullet giving wither clearance and some rock to the bars. Built on a barrel/modified Buster Welch tree and fits a horse well. Wider seat bed, very balanced saddle, with free swinging fenders that offer plenty of adjustment. 3.5″ cantle, 3″ horn, 9″ thing space, and shorter skirt at just 23.5″. The tooling work on this saddle is stunning. All leather is so darn soft on this saddle. Has a small hole punched near the rear rigging ring on the skirt where a pouch was mounted. Very small. This saddle is heavier than you’d think with the wood tree. This one is a saddle that will last, riding like a dream for generations. Grab this saddle…or wait for way too long to see another nice used one available!
