We are shocked that this one isn’t marked. Clearly a custom piece, having all the feel of an older Broken Horn or Kathy’s. Either way, this set is NICE. The headstall is more refined in its look in chestnut oiled leather with lots of rawhide accents, carried through to the matching reins. The hardware on this set is really what makes this such a quality piece. The side buckles are a sliding buckle style, larger with great engraving work, cutting horse motif, small flowers with real and jewelry grade blue topaz stones, and the initials “K S”. The gold rope edge tests as 10k gold and each are marked Sterling Overlay from Cortes Silversmiths. The sliding bit ends on both the reins and the headstall match perfectly, also with the inlayed blue topaz stones. Horse seize, great adjustability, reins have a nice weight to them and are 87″ long, 1/2″ diameter. Leather quality on this set is incredible and butter soft. Real life, this set hardly look used, in pristine and well cared for condition. This is one to use or add to a collection.
