These are such nice reins! A truly vintage piece, coming off of a vintage bridle horse bridle-showing that quality tack will last a lifetime (or two). It is possible these are Kangaroo, as the color and feel are right, however, we can’t be sure. Either way, these are butter…BUTTER soft. In dark oiled leather, tightly round/romel braided leather that have a nice feel in your hands. Leather popper and leather buttons on each end. The bit end of these reins are loops-designed to be used with rein chains but can be used with tie connectors. 72″ long, thinner diameter at 3/8″. Has had a minor professional repair at one end, near the popper and is well hidden. The rolled leather under the button started to flatten, so now has thread wrapped to maintain the rolled appearance. Despite being vintage, these are in very good used condition. A darn nice set and are perfect to finish off a vintage bridle, but are still up for daily use.
