This is such a nice bit from famed bit maker, Ray Maheu. This one is in hardly used condition. 5″ mouth that has a nice contour in sweet iron with a wider, rounded port that measures 2″. Rotates at the port and mouth. Has a swept back, almost Loomis style shank but with a slightly longer purchase, measuring 8″. This bit is a bit weightier, in excellent/hardly used condition. This one has a great weight and feel, very well balanced. You don’t see ones like this very often!
