We are surprised this one isn’t marked. While we don’t have history on it, this cool bit came from a long time collector’s personal collection. Clearly a vintage piece, made back when craftsmanship was outstanding. Fixed cheek style with Cavalry style shanks. The side of the bit has a hand engraved domed concho in what appears to be Nickel silver that have great detailing. The rest of the bit is all iron, showing far less rust than you’d expect from a vintage bit like this. Smaller mouth at 4.75″, port measures 1 3/8″ tall, shanks measures 7″ (8 1/2″ to bottom of rein ring). Each domed concho have a couple small dents. Has what appears to be a small weld at the edge of the bit stabilizer, but doesn’t appear to be a repair. Honestly, appears to have rubbed against another bit during a repair. Well balanced, sound, and ready to ride…or to add to a collection. Great look to this one!
