Nice used 5″ Myler MB-02 fancy dotted 7 shank that has such a nice look. This is one of our favorite bits! In fact, this is one of our client’s favorite bits too, selling out every time we get one in! Wide Barrel Comfort Snaffle mouth. The mouth is sweet iron, so does rust to offer a pleasant sweet taste for the horse. This one is in good used condition, showing some rust on the mouth from use and a bit of rust on the blackened shank. Per Myler:
The MB 02 is the Myler alternative to the traditional French link or lozenge mouthpiece commonly used in snaffle bits. The MB 02 rotates onto the tongue, applying tongue pressure, but because the mouthpiece is curved, it wraps around the bars and lips instead of pinching. The barrel in the center applies approximately the same pressure on the tongue as a traditional three-piece mouthpiece, however, the barrel distributes the pressure more kindly and creates Independent Side Movementâ„¢. Sweet iron mouthpiece oxidizes and encourages salivation.
