Hardly used 5.5″ Stainless Steel Baucher snaffle, sometimes called a Hanging Snaffle with Stainless Steel Ported Barrel (MB 36, Level 2/3) Copper Inlay. Level 3 with a lower port that offers great tongue relief, hooks for mild leverage option. This bit is also the Forward Tilt, which is great for a horse who needs a bit with more anatomical support. Has inlayed copper to promote salivation. Great, hardly used bit for way less than retail! Per Myler:
The MB 36 is a Myler alternative to the traditional mullen, but it has a wide low port that allows the tongue to pass under it comfortably. The port is 1″ high, and tilted forward at a 45º angle, allowing just enough room for the horse’s tongue to elevate slightly and swallow, but not high enough for palate pressure. When the reins are engaged, the MB 36 applies pressure primarily to the bars and lip, but also applies tongue pressure because of the forward tilt.
