Absolutely stunning and truly vintage Heishi necklace, full of natural gemstones. While it is not marked with a makers mark, the style is most associated with Navajo jewelry makers/silversmiths. All beads are hand-crafted from natural gemstones including jade and onyx, separated by shell beads. Both have great color diversity with the jade ranging from green to brownish tan, and the onyx ranging from black to deep brown. At the bottom, Kingsman turquoise beads are set between the two talons pendants. The talon pendants are sterling silver with inlayed crushed turquoise. Necklace measures 16†long by roughly 3/16†in diameter. This necklace has had a repair, with the hook part of the claps replaced. The loop part of the clasp is sterling silver. In excellent condition overall, with just a bit of minor stretching. Absolutely stunning piece of vintage, Native made jewelry.
